Article 1 (Application)

These Terms set out the conditions for using Repimame (the "Service"). Registered users ("Users") shall use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Article 2 (Registration)

1. An application to register is made by the method we specify, after agreeing to these Terms.

2. We may decline an application in the following cases:

Article 3 (Management of user ID and password)

1. Users are responsible for managing their own user ID and password for the Service.

2. We are not liable for any damage arising from use of a user ID or password by a third party, except where we have acted with intent or gross negligence.

Article 4 (Fees and paid plans)

1. The Service can be used free of charge. There is no limit on the number of recipes you can save, and we do not display advertisements.

2. For features that use AI (importing recipes from a URL, creating recipes from photos, adjusting ingredients for a different number of servings, and similar), we set a monthly number of uses available free of charge. You can check your usage under "Plan & usage" in the app.

3. To use the Service beyond those limits, a paid plan is available (Standard plan, 200 yen per month, tax included). Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions.

4. Payment is made through Apple's in-app purchase (App Store). You are charged at the time of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period.

5. To stop auto-renewal, change the setting in the App Store subscription management at least 24 hours before the end of the period. If you cancel mid-period, you may continue to use the plan until the end of that period.

6. Refunds are governed by Apple's rules. We cannot process refunds ourselves.

7. The number of free uses and the content and price of paid plans may change. We will give notice in the app or on this site before any change.

8. For users who were using the Service before paid plans began (August 19, 2026), the previous conditions are maintained and the limits in the preceding paragraphs do not apply.

Article 4-2 (Referral programme)

1. We issue a referral code to each user. If you share your referral code and another person registers and enters that code, both the referrer and the referred person receive 30 days of features equivalent to the Standard plan.

2. The referrer's benefit is added in 30-day increments for each successful referral, up to a maximum of six referrals. No further benefit is added beyond that.

3. The benefit ends when the granted period expires, after which use automatically returns to the free plan. No charge is made for use under the benefit, and it does not auto-renew.

4. A referral code cannot be used in the following cases:

5. We may withdraw a benefit in the following cases:

6. The referral programme may be changed or ended. We will give notice in the app or on this site beforehand.

Article 5 (Handling of content)

1. Copyright in recipes, images and other content saved to the Service by a User ("User Content") belongs to that User.

2. Users grant us permission to use User Content to the extent necessary to provide, improve and promote the Service.

3. Users must not post content that infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties.

Article 5-2 (Importing recipes from other sites)

1. The Service can import recipe information published on external websites and social media (Instagram, TikTok and similar) by specifying a URL.

2. Recipe information imported in this way is saved for the User's own private use (personal recipe management and meal planning). Redistribution to third parties, publication, and commercial use are prohibited.

3. Copyright in an imported recipe belongs to the original author or site operator. The Service keeps a link to the original recipe (source information) so that Users can reach the original content.

4. External websites and social media change from time to time, so importing may fail or the imported content may be incomplete.

5. Users should check the accuracy of imported recipe information against the original content.

Article 5-3 (Reporting infringement and requesting removal)

1. A rights holder who believes that content on the Service infringes their copyright or other rights may contact us through the in-app contact form, providing information that identifies the content (the relevant URL or location) and information confirming that they are the rights holder.

2. On receiving such a report, we will review it and, where we judge it necessary, promptly remove the content or take other appropriate measures.

Article 6 (Use of AI features)

1. The AI features of the Service (URL analysis, image analysis, shopping list adjustment and similar) use OpenAI's API.

2. Results and suggestions produced by AI features are for reference only; we do not guarantee their accuracy.

3. Extraction of recipe information by AI features is provided for the User's own private use.

Article 7 (Prohibited conduct)

Users must not do any of the following when using the Service:

Article 8 (Suspension of the Service)

1. We may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice to Users if we judge that any of the following applies:

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

1. We accept no responsibility for transactions, communications or disputes arising between a User and another User or a third party in connection with the Service.

2. Recipe information, nutritional information, AI analysis results and similar provided through the Service are for reference only. We do not warrant their accuracy, completeness or usefulness.

Article 10 (Changes to the Service)

We may change the content of the Service or discontinue it without prior notice to Users, and accept no responsibility for any damage caused to Users as a result.

Article 11 (Changes to these Terms)

We may change these Terms at any time without notice to Users. The revised Terms take effect when they are posted on our website.

Article 12 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

2. In the event of a dispute concerning the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of our head office shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the agreed court of first instance.
